Mauriceville School is a small rural school 20 minutes North-East of Masterton. We have two classrooms and employ three teachers, which includes the principal and two teachers. We offer the Reading Recovery programme for six year olds who require additional support in literacy. As a Positive Behaviour for Learning school (PB4L) we have a set of school values that were developed in consultation with our community, and clear expectations of learning and behaviour. Our values are Proud, Respect, Integrity, Determined and Engaged and are referred to as our PRIDE values. Students are drawn from both the local community and Masterton. We offer a stunning country environment, with low student to teacher ratios which ensures that students get a quality education and significant learning support. We pride ourselves on building positive relationships with our students, parents, whanau and the wider community.
